Gin nodded and bought her the cookies and cream and a regular vanilla cone for himself then passed it to her.

"Thank you. Do you want a bite?" She asked curiously while taking a bite for herself. "It's really good."

[Gin]

"Hm? Sure~" Gin gently licked the top of her ice cream, only taking a bit. "That's pretty good~ I never get anything besides vanilla cuz toppings and flavors are to difficult..." Gin then looked at his plain cone and held it out to her. "Wanna taste?"

[Akime]

"Sure, thanks." She said smiling and ently licking off a small amount of the ice cream. "Yours isn't too shabby either." She said while starting to giggle.

[Gin]

Gin laughed a bit and threw his cone away. "I don't like mine now that I've tasted yours~! Let me have some more?" Gin said with a small puppy dog face.

[Akime]

"Okay and I just realized that shabby is a funny word." She said tilting her ice cream over so he could have some.

[Gin]

Gin licked a bit more of her ice cream and tilted his head. "Shabby? It is funny! I never use that word cuz it sounds like something my hairy aunt would use to describe a guy...what made you think of that? Do I seem shabby?"

[Akime]

"No but I like to use different. It makes me feel unique. Do you know what I'm saying?" she giggles and takes another lick of her ice cream.

[Gin]

"Yeah I feel exactly the same way~ why be the same as everyone else, when you can be different and be known?" Gin leaned over again and took a bit of her ice cream. "This is really good..."

[Akime]

"It's one of my personal favorites. Don't you hate it when people square people out for being different? It's just so stupid! Has it ever happened to you?" she ask in a sort of mad voice while licking the top ofher ice cream.

[Gin]

Gin looked up to think and then shook his head. "No I can't say I've had that happen to me...people tend to like me more than usual...but I can say that when I see it happening to someone else, I become somewhat of their best friend for a while~ y'know, make them feel accepted~" he said with an air of satisfaction.

[Akime]

"Why, you're lucky. At my old school they found out I was a demon so people squared me out. Only one person excepted me and that was the guidence counselor because I had a meeting with her everyday."

[Gin]

"...and even so, they only do that because their being paid for it...they could care less if there was no profit for themself. But you do have one more person who accepts you." he said pointing to himself smiling. "You being a demon has nothing to do with the fact that I see an awesome, fun, cute girl in front of me~ "

[Akime]

"Aw, you just so sweet Gin." Shegives him a hug to show her thanks. She then offered him some more ice cream, "Would you like anymore? It'll melt soon if we don't finish it." But she sees a drp fall fom the ice cream and onto her hand, "It's already starting to."

[Gin]

Gin hugged back and looked at it and took another lick. "I like it when it's like this, just dripping a tiny bit." Gin noticed a bench in the shade of a tree in a nearby park. "Wanna sit down?"

[Akime]

"Sure." she said starting to walk over to where he was looking

[Gin]

As Gin sat down, a red ball flew at him and hit him in the chest. "Ow..." he said rubbing his chest. Some kids ran up to him and apologized, while Gin just smiled and told them don't worry. He gave them their ball and watched them run away. "...that ball wasn't rubber..."

[Akime]

"Are you alright?" she asked worrily, "I actually heard that."

[Gin]

"Y-yeah..." he said in a small breath, holding his stomach. He sat back and smiled, shrugging off the pain. "It's a nice day...."

[Akime]

"Yeah, really is." She said sitting behing him and laying her head on his shoulder. "It's still so beautiful out somehow."

[Gin]

Gin smiled and unoticingly wrapped his arm around her."For me to like a sunny day is pretty amazing...I'm more of a rainy day kind of person...."

[Akime]

"Is it true that sunny days show the happy and kindness a person has? If so that'll make it harder because I'm not the person you think I am. I've killed humans before Gin and I don't want to hurt you. So please forgive me for not telling you this before." She said with an unoticable hint of shameful despair in her voice.

[Gin]

"You've killed people before huh...?" he said looking at her. "I couldn't worry less about that....I'm sure you had your reasons,and I can see that your ashamed of it. Whatever your mistakes were, no matter how big, I'm sure you'll be forgiven. As for me, I like you as you are right now and havn't seen you kill anyone, so that's good enough for me."

[Akime]

"I just don't get it Gin. Don't take this negatively but I never expected that a human could understand."she said blushing annd hugging him. "You're sweet. Promise me you'll stay that way?"

[Gin]

Gin smiled at her and blushed a bit. "Yeah, I promise as long as you stay yourself." he said, slowly leaning his face toward her without realizing.
