"I was sitting in my shrine, when it happened." She put her head down ashamed that she couldn't stop what happened. "A powerful demon came and tore off the roof. I tried to run but he grabbed me. I tried to attack but he took my bow'n'arrow away from me. I kicked him to the point to where he dropped me. I ran and got my bow. I shot him directly in the forehead and he fell on top of the shrine. That is all I remember except for waking up under my shrines remains." She started to whimper but managed to clean up her act so she didn't seem weak.

[Gin]

Gin had risen out of his seat and hugged her tightly. Stroking her back gently, he whispered in her ear, "I know it hurts...but it's okay to cry. Whether you be an angel, human, or demon, your not weak for lettin out your emotions. If you bottle your emotions, someone will accidentally open the bottle and make a mess." Gin spoke in a gentle, nice voice.

[Akime]

"I just don't want to seem weak in front of you." She whispered

[Gin]

Gin stopped hugging her and looked into her eyes. "I don't think you'd be weak at all if you cried right now. I'd only see a beautiful girl dealing with her pain in a strong way." he said with a slight smile but with a serious tone.

[Akime]

She breaks out crying and jumps into his arms, "I could've stopped it, but I didn't!"

[Gin]

Gin once again held her tightly and stroked her back. "Now now...blaming youself isn't going to help. You tried your best and that's really all that's important. Just go 'head and let it all out, I'll hold onto you as long as you want me to."

[Akime]

"Uh, you're so nice to me, even though you know I'm not human." Kisses his cheek, "Gin, why is that?"

[Gin]

Gin slightly blushed as he was kissed on the cheek, and gave her a warm smile. "I could care less what you are. If you have feel emotions and can think then that's all I need to be nice to someone."

[Akime]

She wipes away her tears and smiles, "Thanks, thanks alot Gin. It means much to me that I'm excepted by you."

[Gin]

Gin let her go and looked at her. "Don't worry~ I'm just always happy to help someone. I'm not much in the mood for more coffee, would you like to hang out somewhere?"

[Akime]

"Sure, where at though?" she said curiously

[Gin]

"Wherever we end up walking~" Gin brought the cups to the counter and paod his bill and Akime's bill too.

[Akime]

"You didn't have to pay for me. But thanks." She walks over to the door and opens it, "You coming?" She said in a playful mood

[Gin]

Gin walks out the door with her."Yeah don't mention it. I was always told to pay for someone you just met." Gin stuck one hand in his pocket out of habit and scratched the top of his head with te other.

[Akime]

"May I ask why you keep doing that?" She said curiously

[Gin]

Gin looked the other way in embarrassment. "Actually...I saw this really cool guy one time as a child so I began to mimick him...now I can't stop doin it or I'll feel odd~" Gin laughed nervously to himself.

[Akime]

"No need to be embarrassed, or nervous. Okay?"

[Gin]

"Yeah..." Gin turned his head back to her. "So...you have any family?"

[Akime]

"No, not really." she said with no hint of emotion in her voice, "They were stupid and ignorant."

[Gin]

Gin gave a questioning smile and tilted his head a bit. "Well, thats sad to hear. In the short time I had a family, I was pretty happy. They were all a bunch of idiots but I loved em. On the other hamd, I don't know how demon families are compared to human families...."

[Akime]

"Not as pleasan as I would like them to be." She muttered to herslef

[Gin]

Gin frowned a bit before spotting a ice cream truck. He smiled at her and pulled out his wallet. "Want some ice cream? I'm paying~"

[Akime]

"Sure and thanks. Did I say something to offend you?" she asked worrily

[Gin]

Gin shook his head. "Nah don't worry~ there's only two things that can offend me. Guys mistreatin' women and people who criticize others instea of enjoyin' their own lives." Gin nudged her shouler with his hand as he walked up to the ice cream truck. "Whaddya want~?"

"The cookies and cream ome please." She said smiling and with a sigh of relief.
